Photography Update

I've taken the past 2 years off from photographing weddings. Besides the need to take time off during my pregnancy and during Zachary's first year, I also just needed the time to recharge. Since we've continued to provide wedding videography services during my "hiatus", I've still been editing weddings, so it really doesn't feel like it's been that long since I've photographed one...it's hard to believe! I'm looking forward to starting back again with my first wedding in May and some portrait sessions in the mean time and can't wait to share some of my new work with you. Until then, I've been enjoying photographing my beautiful children...not always the most cooperative, but still the best models a mother could ask for! ;-) Here are some of my favorite photographs that I've captured of them.

This is my absolute favorite portrait of Elaina and Zachary taken when he was 4 weeks old. (I love how his little toes are spread apart and Elaina's look of pure adoration for her baby brother.) You'll notice the filmstrip of photographs at the top of this blog are from this photo session.

Work, Work, Work

This past weekend was another weekend spent editing. We're close to finishing up another wedding video and are excited to see another project almost marked off our list. We've been running behind since my pregnancy and Zachary's birth, but have been taking on less jobs to help get caught up, so much of our time during the week and especially on the weekends has been spent editing lately. We're finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you to all of our clients who have been so patient with us as you've waited to relive your wedding day through your video. We hope that it has been worth the wait for everyone.

Here is another video clip I wanted to share of Zachary when he was 4 months old. He cracks me up!

First Words

I've been wanting to start this for quite awhile now and have recently been inspired by several "blogger friends", so I'm finally doing it! Zachary turned 8 months old today, so I figured what better day than today to start? Here is a video clip of Zachary saying his favorite first word "Mama". He also says "Amen" when we're eating, but maybe that's one of those words only a mommy can understand.



It's hard to believe my baby boy is already 8 months old! I remember bringing him home from the hospital and thinking how I wish he could stay that little forever. Now I can't wait to see the new things that he's learning and doing every day. I'm looking forward to sharing many of those moments with you in this blog.
